Tamara appears in Watchers of Raikou as an ally of Knite Ferasim. It is clear from the very beginning that she holds a deep amount of respect and affection for Knite, though this does not seem to be evenly returned, as Knite often threatens her during the course of the story, particularly when she attempts to protect him from danger.

Tamara is described as having long, shoulder-length hair of a vibrant red colour and bright blue eyes, with a soft and pretty face. She is traditionally seen wearing a pale blue denim jacket, pure white shirt and black flared pants.

Tamara is originally from the Hoenn region (hence the vast majority of her Pokemon team) and only recently arrived in Johto as a trainer for hire. It is not clear how both she and Knite met. Tamara could be considered the "odd-one-out" of Knite's mercenary team as she harbours no ill will towards Zak or the other members of the opposing team; in fact she rarely makes her own thoughts on the subject clear, preferring to remain silent and obey orders instead.

Overview:

Tamara does not play a large role in the story until the very end, where she has a large battle against Zak just outside of Viridian City, finally revealing her full Pokemon team. She is an exceptional trainer, using an unerringly efficient strategy, so much so that she actually had the upper hand in the battle against Zak - had she used her Spheal she probably would have won.

Prior to this battle Tamara was commanded by Knite as if she were nothing but a soldier - during the battle against Velcia and the Guardians of Raikou she was willing to sacrifice herself by having her Salamence use its Hyper Beam attack in the centre of the crowded throne room at full power; an attack which would have most certainly have killed every human in the immediate vicinity of the blast. This unflinching loyalty and devotion to Knite left her badly injured in the battle on the Seafoam Islands when Knite attempted to catch Mewtwo. During their battle the legendary Pokemon blasted a stalactite from the cavern ceiling which plunged into Tamara's abdomen and she was only able to survive after Zak and his team took her to the nearby hospital in Olivine City. It is worth noting that this was the only incident to make Knite pause for thought during his attempts at trying to catch Mewtwo, though he quickly resumed the chase, ignoring his injured ally.

During the epilogue of Watchers or Raikou, Tamara's hospital bed is discovered to be vacant, presumably from her having escaped in an effort to find Knite. The head doctor of the clinic, however, seemed to believe that this was impossible, as she was having difficulty breathing at the time, let alone moving of her own accord.

Relationship with her Spheal:

It is clear that Tamara is very protective of her Spheal, which she often allows to wander freely outside of its Pokeball (though it is usually found in her arms). Not much is known about why her relationship with this Pokemon is so special, though it could be assumed that it was simply her first Pokemon.
