Blackrock is a legendary black-coloured Onix that resides in Union Cave, just east of Azalea Town. Team Rocket conducted an experiment on it during Watchers of Raikou to test their ability to dull Pokemon brain waves in what is essentially a basic form of mind control. Thanks to the actions of Zak Vangard this plan was foiled and the Pokemon was set free.
